## Stato del server
Il launcher Fairy 2.0 controlla automaticamente lo stato del server prima di permettere il login.
Quando il server è online e tutti i componenti sono aggiornati, i pulsanti **Login** e **Register** saranno disponibili.
Se il server è offline, in manutenzione o non raggiungibile, il launcher mostrerà lo stato corretto e bloccherà temporaneamente l’accesso per evitare errori di connessione.

## Sistema di aggiornamento automatico
Fairy 2.0 utilizza un sistema di aggiornamento automatico integrato nel launcher.
Il launcher controlla automaticamente:
* versione del launcher;
* versione del bootloader;
* versione del client Final Fantasy XI;
* compatibilità con la versione consigliata del server Fairy 2.0.
Quando viene rilevato un aggiornamento, il pulsante **UPDATE** apparirà nel launcher.
In base al tipo di aggiornamento, il launcher potrà mostrare:
* **UPDATE LAUNCHER**
* **UPDATE BOOTLOADER**
* **UPDATE CLIENT**
* **UPDATE ALL**
Prima di iniziare, verrà mostrato un riepilogo dei componenti che saranno aggiornati.

## Aggiornamenti client
Il launcher può aggiornare automaticamente il client Final Fantasy XI alla versione consigliata per Fairy 2.0.
Non è più necessario copiare manualmente cartelle PlayOnline o sovrascrivere file a mano.
Il sistema scarica, verifica e installa automaticamente i file necessari.
Durante l’aggiornamento vengono eseguiti controlli di sicurezza, inclusa la verifica SHA256, per assicurarsi che i file scaricati siano corretti.

## Versione client consigliata
Il launcher mostra sia la versione locale del client installata sul PC del giocatore, sia la versione consigliata per Fairy 2.0.
Chi gioca anche sul server ufficiale potrebbe avere una versione più recente del client Final Fantasy XI.
Una versione superiore potrebbe funzionare, ma non è sempre garantita la piena compatibilità con Fairy 2.0.
Per evitare problemi, è consigliato utilizzare la versione client indicata dal launcher come versione consigliata per il server.
Possibili problemi con versioni non allineate:
* crash;
* freeze;
* problemi grafici;
* problemi con menu o interfaccia;

## Backup automatico
Prima di ogni aggiornamento, il launcher crea automaticamente un backup dei file di configurazione principali:

Il backup viene salvato nella cartella `_updates\backup\latest`.

Il launcher include anche l’orologio **Fairy 2.0 - Vana’diel Time**, sincronizzato con il server.
L’orologio mostra:
* giorno di Vana’diel;
* ora di gioco;
* giorno elementale;
* indicatore colorato dell’elemento.
Il tempo avanza nel launcher alla stessa velocità del tempo di gioco.

## Manutenzioni
Durante eventuali manutenzioni, il server potrebbe risultare offline o non raggiungibile.
In questi casi, attendere il ripristino del servizio prima di tentare nuovamente il login.
Eventuali aggiornamenti importanti, modifiche al client o interventi tecnici verranno comunicati tramite questa pagina e tramite Discord.

## Server Status
The Fairy 2.0 launcher automatically checks the server status before allowing players to log in.
When the server is online and all components are updated, the **Login** and **Register** buttons will become available.
If the server is offline, under maintenance, or unreachable, the launcher will display the correct status and temporarily block access to prevent connection errors.

## Automatic Update System
Fairy 2.0 uses an automatic update system built directly into the launcher.
The launcher automatically checks:
* launcher version;
* bootloader version;
* Final Fantasy XI client version;
* compatibility with the recommended Fairy 2.0 server version.
When an update is detected, the **UPDATE** button will appear in the launcher.
Depending on the required update, the launcher may display:

## Client Updates
The launcher can automatically update the Final Fantasy XI client to the recommended Fairy 2.0 version.
